Abuse the Bubble

For those who don't know, when you abuse the bubble you are being very aggressive shortly before the tournament reaches the money (there's also a final table bubble), winning a lot of pots uncontested because people are afraid of going out before cashing. It helps to have a big stack when doing this.

Gus Hansen and Phil Ivey are masters of abusing the bubble and Scarlett's catching up to them! She plays on Full Tilt, so you should too!

Trying to decide if Corbin should actually kill Harold. Needs some major punishment. Eh, I'll figure something out. I think the strip has been horrible in the past several months and I want some major change to liven it up. Killing off a major character might do the trick. Gotta revamp this in some way. Maybe Corbin will take his family and move somewhere -- out of the country maybe. He probably misses Party Poker.

For those who don't know, this site covers the issue pretty well. And if you don't believe he had access to hole cards, I suggest reading Jennifear's hand by hand analysis. And here's a scary account of what probably happened.

This is all absolutely disgusting and makes me more confident in the "F UB" stance that I took a couple weeks back. Absolute Poker owns Ultimate Bet and you'd be doing the entire online community a big favor if you spread the word as much as you can about the cheating that's being lied about by AP. Tell everyone you know who has an account on AP or UB or one day might get one. As Corbin tells Harold, you should get your money off those sites right away.

Too many drugs for Clancy during the Series. If you're not sure what this strip is referring to, this video would be helpful, along with any appearance, of which there are dozens, of Hevad Khan during this year's WSOP ME on ESPN. To be clear, I like the guy and don't have a problem with him. He's not an asshole (or a jackass) -- he's just genuinely insane, which is great.

I sometimes watch High Stakes Poker live, but usually watch them late Monday night after recording them on the DVR. I wonder how many strips in a row will be about Konsta and when he will leave America, or at least leave Corbin's house. I think Wednesday's won't feature Konsta, but he might still be around. May stay forever. I like Konsta.
