Trying to decide if Corbin should actually kill Harold. Needs some major punishment. Eh, I'll figure something out. I think the strip has been horrible in the past several months and I want some major change to liven it up. Killing off a major character might do the trick. Gotta revamp this in some way. Maybe Corbin will take his family and move somewhere -- out of the country maybe. He probably misses Party Poker.

Today's strip is awesome. I don't know why the line about pooping made me laugh like it did - I guess it's because my little puppy is pooping all over the house right now and Harold is probably on the same level.
Oh yeah! Harold should be killed! Then the police is chasing after Corbin und he has to hide in underground pokerrooms were he becomes the godfather of poker!
I don't think the strips have been particularly horrible (a few clunkers here and there but it's been generally good).
You can't please everyone all the time but hey, I suppose it's a testament to how high you want the quality to be that you aren't happy about the way the strip's going (it's still a heck of a lot funnier than your rivals out there).
Harold isn't such a bad recurring character (I too thought the 'I'm pooping' line was funny) but I suppose you've got Clancy, Scarlett, Violet and Ultramarine (surely the baby girl wasn't stuck with that!?).
I suppose in sustaining three strips a week you have to have to keep the situations ticking over and possibly introduce a few major changes here and there just to keep it interesting for yourself as the creator.
I wouldn't. Danger of a 'Jump the Shark' moment imo.
Too early for that. If one didn't know any better, you're simply bored and just want to go crazy with +EV.
Surely there's more scenarios to explore before there's to be major changes? Violet and Corbin's relatives? More punchlines for online MTTs or real time/world results to think about?
Have him win a bunch of money, or lose a bunch accidentally... to Harold, who I like less and less anyway. Harold should get a visit from the mob for cheating too.
Harold should move into finland with konsta.

Let him lose his hat in a poker game, and then feel like he lost his identity and goes on a trip to "find himself".
I like the hat. :)
Some new Character might win it from him. Sort of taking over his role. :)
Or the poor Llama may kick him to a bloody pulp... heh.
Sweden is a good place to try to find yourself in...Its a lot like Siberia.
That's easy. Harold discovers the term "donkey puncher" and takes it too literally. In the messy, messy affair, his "donkey" kills him. He leave Corbin a substantial amount of money in the will. And Corbin, rather than being, y'know, smart-- moves the family to Canada because the dollar's better and he can play on more poker sites.
And if there's a huge Harold-wanting-back outcry, well-- it's a comic. He was in a coma! =)
The problem with the strip lately is that its all "XX is stupid". No more funny poker jokes, no more cool plots.
