Flipaments
STRIP #27
I haven't played a flipament yet, but they sound pretty fun. Adam M. Junglen popularized them recently on the 2+2 forums. He's a fellow PokerXFactor subscriber and a fan of the comic, so you should all check out his blog.
You should also note that Corbin came away from getting struck by lightning with only a small band-aid on his forehead. Maybe Violet's right about him just being a luck sack.
If you're a college football fan, be sure to come back for Friday's strip, where Corbin strikes the Heisman pose for some reason --

Boring, ugly, repetative (art) and who gives a *&$£ about skilless fluke tournaments?
Boring, repetitive (learn how to spell) art is pretty much a staple of all the most popular web comics. You can look it up! And did you not notice that I'm making fun of flipaments here? Violet looks disgusted by the fact that there's no skill involved and that he's just gambling, and then she calls him a luck sack.
Flipaments are usually played for small buy-ins just for fun, though, and I don't think there's anything wrong with them. They're certainly more fun than roulette or most other casino games and they take the same amount of skill (none).
Awesome and hilarious. Their expressions are fantastic.
Punchline was weak but the art is consistently good.

I love these comics. I've been checking in every Monday/Wednesday/Friday... And I think it's weird, but I find Violet oddly attractive...
